Florence (@florencelittlehuman) is chronically online but always on DND — a little awkward, a little unhinged, but always keeping it real.
Where are you from?
A full-time Christian and full-time human, Florence studied communication design and is currently navigating life as a part-time multidisciplinary creative (with way too many tabs open, mentally and literally).
What do you enjoy doing for fun?
She spirals — creatively. You’ll usually find her deep in a book, watching documentaries, exploring arts and culture, or capturing quiet moments through street photography.
How did you get started?
Her creative journey began after seeing her older sister make art in school, which sparked her curiosity for all things visual. As a kid, she created comics just for fun, designed homemade drink menus for her dad, and even organised a mini fun fair with her neighbours. She’s always been fascinated with turning imaginations into something real.
Florence’s journey hasn’t been linear. After graduating from poly, she took the unconventional route — crafting her own learning journey through YouTube, short courses, and anything else she could get her hands on.
Today, she’s still on that journey — learning, creating, and growing into the creative person that God has called her to be.
What kind of art do you do/like?
Florence works across both digital and physical mediums, including zines, pressed flowers, collage, photography, writing, and graphic design. Her creative practice sits at the crossroads of healing, storytelling, and emotional honesty.
She’s especially drawn to themes of faith, identity, and the complexity of being human — often blending introspection, semi-fiction, quiet observations, and a bit of chaos to capture the contradictions (and comedy) of existence.
