Where are you from?
Dawn does it all — she’s a dedicated homeschooling mother of two, who also works to support her passion for art.
What do you enjoy doing for fun?
She enjoys spending time with her loved ones, staring out over the sea, sharing laughter and conversations about anything that comes to mind — often overthinking, but always finding comfort in the moment and the company.
How did you get started?
Dawn’s journey in art began long before she left NAFA — creativity has always been her constant. She explores a wide range of media, from acrylics, watercolors, and ink drawings to filmmaking, animation, and photography. Her interest in zine-making started more recently during an internship with Joel last year. She quickly grew to love the process and now plans to keep creating more — some pieces are already close to being print-ready.
What kind of art do you do/like?
Dawn is a visual artist who enjoys exploring art in different forms such as ceramics, acrylic, watercolor paintings, drawings, photography and/or various different everyday objects.
