It’s been a long time coming, but we’ve finally gotten all the collab group members together in one place! Ok not all our collab members, but almost every group we had was represented by one member at least. It took a bit of figuring out (two of our members went to our other office on accident)(some got lost around the wrong part of the building), but we were all there!
I (Joel) shared about some of my inspirations, and we broke up into smaller groups to hear how each other were inspired. Everyone also shared about their collab experiences and their current collab projects. At the end, I gave a quick run down of what to expect in the year coming up. With SGABF applications lurking around the corner, it’s a good time to start firming up our work and getting it ready for print!
It was a good time to hear from each other how things were going, and also to meet other creatives who are keen to make more things. If the forms of our creative communities keep growing, we’ll be able to make new friends across other creative events. Hopefully, one day it might be a little less intimidating to be a creative, because our friends are there already 😀
Thanks to everyone who turned up, and to those who wanted to but just couldn’t make it! It was amazing to see all of you again 🙂
