On The Floor, In Between, Pasar Madlam, among other things

It’s been awhile since our last update here, and there were a many busy weekends in the months past.

Here’s a quick recap:

At the end of August, we participated with Pasar MADLam, by MADMARKET. Part of SG Night Fest, we brought our zines and some prints for people to check out. More importantly, it was a good time of catching up with our friends from MADMarket. We saw them last during Christmas in 2025!

We were also in In Between at New Barhu – see what I did there. Instead of doing the same thing as our MADMarket set up, we decided to take things boldly into a new direction and bring our RISO printer to the show itself. Participants would scan their face as a print, and we printed a few extras for us to make a zine from it. The zine is still underway, but we aim to showcase it soon.

After another week of Pasar MADLam, we closed the studio for a short break. And came back swinging into ON THE FLOOR!

We do a number of RISO workshops in a year, and we get to meet all sorts of people. A lot of the time, people coming in ask “Wow, who made that?” or “Man, this piece is really cool.” Our aim of ON THE FLOOR was to connect the dots in our community.

Personally, I also really enjoyed the Sungei Road markets of the past. It was fun to browse so many people just chilling out on the floor and being nonchalant about their wares. It gave me the space to browse more, and to think if the item in front of me is trash or treasure.

So ON THE FLOOR was really about that essence of bringing people together, and to be extremely chill about how things are sold.

Now we’re back into regular life of sort. Hopefully we might even get a chance to do some exhibition visits again!

If you’ve met us in the past events, please remember to say hi, and remember that collab zines are open!!
