If you’ve followed our instagram, or had a chat with me recently about coming in to print, or to even form a collab group, I would have mentioned my coming time of being a dad. It’s something Clarice and I have been looking forward to for 9 months now. I would like to say everything would stay status quo, but I can’t really say for sure!
But we’re hoping to keep the RISO Workshops on Thursdays. As the workshop requests were coming up in the past months, we were also exploring what it would look like to run more workshops on weekends, or to run some at night. Maybe something special will come up after paternity leave!
Process aside, I’ve been having a growing respect for the creatives with children. How Pann and Claire, of Kinetic/Holy Crap, manage their work and their children is really something else. They’re producing super cool things, and still having seemingly good relationships with their kids. I can’t imagine it to be easy, and lots of respect for them.
Anyway, we’ll be open for RISO workshops again in April, so look forward to that! Posts will still come out, because it can be done anywhere. But physical workshops only then.
